Intermittent back pain at 35 weeks

Hi all,

Can anyone help? I keep getting intermittent back pain for the past week, it comes for 30 seconds and then goes and then returns a minute later. Repeat for a few hours. Quite hard to sit through and sometimes it's bad enough I need to breathe through it. Has anyone else had this? Are these braxton hicks?

Thanks

Not sure as I've not had them but sounds like it could be braxton hicks. How far gone are you? If you're worried you should call the hospital and speak to a midwife, they should be able to tell you whats going on!

Thanks for the reply, I'm 35 weeks now, my husband wants me to call the hospital but I don't want to bother them if it is just braxton hicks!

Bother them I say! I went in for monitoring the other day and got told off for leaving it so long Blush. I was told they aren't just there for the delivery bit. If they think it's something they will get you in to check. Hope you're feeling a bit better and more comfortable now :)

Thanks! If they happen again I'll bother them. They do seem to come along when I've done something strenuous like the hoovering, carry something heavy. Thanks for the advice.
