hi all, 16 weeks this weekend and no bump :(
I want one so bad! went for blood test the other day and the lovely practice nurse checked the position of my uterus and showed me how to check it and said I had strong stomach muscles so that is probably why im not showing yet .
Come on bump I want you here!!!

I have a lunch with my old work mates today and I cant be doing with more people saying ooooo you dont even look pregnant etc!

I am 20 weeks and still just look like I have had a big lunch! lol. It will show up one day some day soon I'm sure!?!?!

Haha Alien I was the same... Then got to 17 weeks and it just popped out. Now I keep forgetting I can't squeeze out of tight car park spaces and keep banging into stuff with it! And I've got backache be use my centre of gravity's all out. I'm 22 wks now. It'll come :)

heehee apricotears same here! have you had your 20 wk scan yet? I think once I have my 16 wk check and hopefully hear the heartbeat I can relax until the 20 wk scan! then I vow to totally relax and actually enjoy being pregnant !x

thanks JenniL for the reassurance :) I have lots of niggly pains which I presume is everything stretching down there so hopefully I shall wake up next week with a lovely bump ........ heres hoping!x

I guess everyone pops at different times - I'm over 24 weeks but still look just a bit porky - which is definitely the point at which having a bump would be nice as no-one would yet dare to assume by looking at me that I was pregnant and thus I'm paranoid about being thought fat and keep having to loudly discuss how pregnant I am!!

lol yeah I can imagine that is what I am going to be like! Roll on next Tues for mw check then 20 wk scan! Im sure the little one is hiding somewhere good! x

lol i have my bump at 18 weeks and now cant wear my favourite jeans Sad

Yeah, all is okay thanks Jenni. Scary moment, but the doctor said I did the right thing going to see him, so didn't feel as silly as thought I would Blush

Yes Alien, I have had my scan and it was amazing Smile. My little man was moving around and put on a real show! I too promised myself I would relax after the scan, but haven't really Hmm. I am trying to tell myself to relax now as I will have the rest of my life to worry about this LO... but don't think it's made much difference!

I know what you meanFeralgirl, I too am paranoid about people just thinking I'm just a bit of 'porker!' I guess we should try and look at the bright side- we have the rest of our pregnancies to complain about not fitting into our clothes, being physically uncomfortable etc etc....

I just looked like I'd generally put on some weight all over for weeks - have only recently started looking pregnant at 33 weeks. Now I want my bump to stop growing so quickly as I'm on sticky-out belly button watch Grin

Taller ladies tend not to show so soon...think of it as a blessing if you are tall. I am only 5'3' and have no more room left on my torso, it's soooooooo uncomfortable! Was like that from 16 wks..Sad

I am 38 weeks now, and look like an umpa lumpa!!!!Grin

im 2 days off been 40 weeks preg, and my bump as just come lol and still tiny, im in size 8 normal jeans still. i jus look bloated, oh well :)

i am 25weeks and a little small tiny bump, i am dreaming about a big one, i dont want to wear the clothes that i normaly wear, everyone has to notice it, oh well, just wait and hope. one day will came.

Thanks everyone :) i has my catch up with old work colleagues and they couldn't believe I am four months as there is no bump . They said are u sure there is something in there! Well that was reassuring ! Only few days till 16 wk mw appt now and am hoping she tries to check for heartbeat to reassure me.
I am getting so bloated and full of gas (sorry tmi!) tummy was swollen up to about 8 months preggers size before I went to bed last nifty. All deflated now and back to my normal size:(

I really want to buy some bits for the arrival but paranoid so think I'll wait until after 20wk scan to check everything is ok first. Plus I need to sell my house and move before June so not too much stress!
