Consultant Appointment for Blood Results?

I unexpectedly received an appointment for a consultant in the post. I called to ask why and they said it was to discuss blood results and previous tear. I phoned my GP to ask about the blood results and they said all were normal. What could be going on? I have to wait a month to find out!

Good call on phoning your GP. On the basis of that feedback, I'd suggest to you that the blood test feedback is more of a box-ticking exercise and that what you're really going to discuss is the tear. Can you call the hospital and ask for someone's help in putting your mind at rest, too, or for getting an earlier appointment?
