Just found out I am pregnant! I did a First Response yesterday and had a really faint pink line, did another this morning first thing and still faint but stronger line. Then thought sod it, bought the expensive digital one, and yes, it came up pregnant! Only 1-2 weeks since conception though. I hope it lasts. It's my first time! But I am going to assume everything will be alright, rather than spending the next few months worrying. I have had so many friends and relations who have miscarried though so I am trying not to get too excited.

Any other just found outs out there?

Hello! Congratulations! I found out today too and am 1-2 weeks too :) managed to see the doctor today who said my due date is 18th dec, so think I am more like 4 weeks. The tests are from conception, but you add on a couple of weeks I think... It's hard not to get excited- I haven' t thought about anything else all day! How are you feeling? Do you feel much different?

Have you told anyone yet?

All the best

Me neither! Found it seriously hard to concentrate today! I felt really sick this morning, and around 8pm for the past week have been feeling super tired. I also felt niggles all the past couple of weeks, in fact like period pains. So I thought I wasn't pregnant. But apparently that can also be a sign of pregnancy. I hope this nausea this morning does not continue for the next 3 months though. But yeah, I am getting really excited!

p.s. haven't told anyone, can't tell husband til Saturday as away from home until then. But I am so excited I had to tell someone, so anonymously on the web is the only option! Is that bad to do it before telling husband? I really don't want to tell him over the phone - want to be there!

Thanks and no, of course it's not bad! It's pretty momentous news and I totally understand you wanting to share it - I had an urge to tell the cashier in the co-op! How exciting that your husband doesn't know yet! I phoned mine at work today and he had a funny turn and needed to sit down! Looking forward to him getting back home!

:) I don't know how I am going to wait until Saturday! Argh! Also going out later and I always have a drink and I really don't want any of the girls to guess! I am going to use the 'I am broke' line, which is not even a lie as I am skint at the moment! Buying 3 different preg tests used up all my extra cash this week! but I wanted to be sure.

Same- those tests are well expensive. Another good fib for getting out of drinking is the ' I'm on antibiotics' route. Think this will be what I tell my mates. Some of your friends may offer to get the drinks in which could be awkward!

I think I will just say I am doing WeightWatchers and counting points. Always a good excuse! and I was doing WW until today. I guess I will have to change my points though now to maintenance as you're not supposed to diet while preg are you?
