Got the good news today- am extremely excited and can't really believe it! :) My clear blue test said 1-2 weeks, but from my estimated due date, this makes me 4 weeks 4 days. Confusing. Feel more or less the same apart from gigantic, sore boobs. When did your sickness start?

hello! I'm exactly 6 weeks today and I FEEL pregnant!

I'm mega bloated with light cramping and horribly sore boobs! It was only a week ago that I was posting moaning about not having any symptoms so give it time dear friend! xx

eaglewings · 14/04/2011 16:53

Congrats Wiwa

The test dates show from conception I think, 2 weeks pregnancy would be about the day you conceived roughly. Very confusing.

I found out last Friday when I got a faint BFP and don't feel a huge number of symptoms other than having bug veins in my ankles and other strange places (but that is because I'm old!)

Just think of these Mum's who didn't know they were pregnant for months, not everyone gets lots of symptoms

Wiwa · 14/04/2011 16:54

Hi! ;) yes I guess I should be pleased that I'm not spewing yet! It all seems a little bit unreal right now- need to keep looking at my test! When's your due date? You must be coming up for your first midwife visit?

Week 6 was for me when my appetite/tastes changed, and I had a little bit of sickness. People on here range between no symptoms to having lots of them, but yes.. week 6 for me. I had soreness before then, of course, from around the time you are now.

Ernie1 · 15/04/2011 06:59

Congratulations Wiwa - I'm 6 weeks now too and I haven't had many symptoms either, I think they might be starting to kick in now though, been feeling worse the past few days.

nannyl · 15/04/2011 07:57

For the first few weeks i felt tired and ill.
Then horrendous
am 18 weeks now and really feel pregnant and look pregnant.

Have been feeling pregnant for at least a month, maybe a bit more.

Probably felt it more after my 12weeks scan when i saw baby and saw it was real.

Before that just ill!

hi,
I got my BFP yesterday and again this morning (checked to see wasn't a fluke) only symptom so far is wanting to pee every 5 mins. i'm 4wks. other than that don't feel pregnant per se yet, guess the only other thing is i've gone off drinking tea, which is a shocker as I love a cuppa.

Wiwa · 15/04/2011 08:43

Cheers girlies! Guess I have it all to come :) wish I could fast forward to 12 weeks so that I can tell everyone though!

I had a scan yesterday and am about 7 weeks, I suffer with horrendous ms, usually starts around week 8. This week I have started with awful taste in my mouth being sick because of the sounds of words or thinking about things ( like cleaning out the guinea pigs) retching at the thought. I'm so envious of people who don't have any sickness. Words FFs how to I go about avoiding those! It's so bizarre last time it was breadcrumbs.

FirstTimeMummyToBe · 15/04/2011 09:53

Enjoy the lack of symptoms while you can. i am 7 weeks and have everything!
I have huge sore boobs, back ache, exhaustion, nausea (would rather just be sick), needing the toliet all the time. Think my collaegues are going to guess with the amount of time i spend in the toilet haha

StrandTest · 15/04/2011 09:59

Never had any phyisical symptoms apart from bigger, tender boobs. Some lucky women never have sickness, which my DH couldn't understand as everyone in his family is very sick when pregnant. Every day for months he would ask me 'Do you think you're going to puke today?' in an excited voice, and I'd say 'No...'

However, I did get upset very, very easily - which DH had apparently never heard of, and thought I was lying that pregnancy makes you emotional and was just a mad woman Hmm

Wiwa · 15/04/2011 11:18

Starting to freak out now- it all sounds pretty grim! Haven't even started thinking about the labour yet! Yikes... This is really happening... Hoping that I'll be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get ms, but just has lovely big babylons and glowing skin.. Am pretty spotty at the moment.

I'm seven weeks+ and was just delighting in the fact I had no sickness this time around. Until Tuesday, I am now horribly sick :(

DarciesmumandBump2 · 15/04/2011 15:30

I guess i've got all these other symptoms to look forward to. I only need to pee all the time, have a heightened sense of smell and totally shattered at wk4! that'll do for me :)

Christmas78 · 15/04/2011 16:03

Please don't worry if you don't have any symptoms. Lots of people don't but sometimes you're made to feel like there must be something wrong if you don't have them. Lots of people I know including myself sailed through the first trimester. (Unfortunately I paid for it in the second!)

DarciesmumandBump2 · 15/04/2011 16:12

Christmas I think because I didn't find out till I was 16wks with DD (she was unplanned). This one is planned and maybe my last one due to medical reasons, I worry incase something goes wrong.
