Bought a 60 x 120cm matress, its too short by about 10cms, so need a 60 x 130 one.

I can't find any sprung mattresses in that size.

DH says it would be fine if we padded the end and laid him to sleep with feet to base at the other end!!

would you?!

I?m not sure that I would tbh. At some point your baby will be big enough to pull out the padding, then it would become a pain.

Babies are quite light they would find a foam mattress far more comfortable than you or I, could you be happy with a foam one instead?

I would rather have a perfect fit if I am honest. I saw on another thread a link to someone who made the to measure but not sure if that was sprung. Hope someone with more mattress knowledge comes along soon.

try babymattresses online. if they dont have the size you want - they have loads.....they can custome make.

You can search by cot make and all sorts and they are very reasonable. Its where we are gettig ours from as mamas and papas cots seem to have very specific sizes that can't just be bought from anywhere and I'm not spending the money at M & P's.

TBH, if you can't get a refund, I would just get a bit of foam cut to the right size and pad it out. Once you have sheets over the top it probably won't make too much difference.

I would want one to fit properly tbh.

I read in Kirsty Allsop's book about a company that makes made-to-measure kids' mattresses. Will look out company name for you in a bit. Also, my parents have an old-fashioned crib, and I think Mum had the mattress made to fit via John Lewis.
