So, just that really, is this normal? Should I be worried? I'm usually very regular, but for the last week I've had to go when I've gotta go IYSWIM, although I wouldn't say it's as bad as diarrhea.

Actually blushing as I type this.

hi Fanilla

I am the same, fear not (38+3). I actually prefer it as having been consitipated for a couple of days last week, the relief of going regularly was immense!

I think it's got something to do with baby being far down in your pelvis and so applying 'pressure' to your bowels. Having read loads about people having piles etc from constipation, I am simply keeping schtum and enjoying the regularly movements.

Saying that...learnt at NCT that a really loose movement can be the start of labour. So just see how you go.

Good luck!

Thanks LittleMilla - I had that thought at the back of my head too (start of labour). It is quite loose...not like normal at all, but not full on diarrhea.

Hi I'm 38+6 and have been having looser bowel movements for a couple of weeks now including some full on diarrhea, have not yet gone into labour. Having been constipated for most of my pregnancy it is a welcome relief Smile

I had this a week or two before i went into labour at 39 weeks...

Possibly a sign, and possibly not then!

It's like I just can't hold anything in, stomach gets a bit crampy too. Maybe there's just not enough room!
