Boo haha just thought it would something for her to look after which is relatively easy to keep. Okay okay hmmmm her own baby doll?

there was a similar thread the other day where a mum wanted to get her DD a baby doll so that they could look after their babies together, but the MIL had got in before her. So she was trying to think of soemthing else.
Baby doll would be cool, with maybe a little pram to put it in, or you could just get her what she really loves, maybe a dvd of her fav show may help you during the first few weeks.
Or some crafty stuff if shes that way inclinind.
I got a bar of chocolate and a packet of crisps when my bro was born and I was more than happy. But that was in 1983!

Hi,

I remember the previous thread here
Maybe look through it as there were a lot of good suggestions?

My mum got me a Paddington when DSis was born. IT was "my baby". All went well until DSIs started wearing PAddington's wellies a year or so later and I was very cross indeed.

DD has asked for a 'Talking Jessie' from Toy Story (not specifically when baby comes but several times in the last few months, so have got that on standby!)

I bought my sister a pushchair.. she was 3 1/2 at the time and has no recollection of me arriving at all. i'm hoping it was a pretty good pushchair then.

We've got DD1 (4.5) a child's charm bracelet with a blue heart on it (DC3 is a boy) - she's just about old enough for jewellery but she'll be encouraged to take responsibility for it!

She had a baby doll when DD2 (now 2.5) arrived so we can't get away with that one again.. DD2 is getting a plastic sparkly unicorn (she will love it!) as MiL got her a doll for Christmas.

We have bought our DD a newborn doll from ELC but if we hadn't bought her that we were going to get her one of those kids cameras so that she could have fun taking her own pictures of the baby, another friend of mine is thinking of gettting her DS one as no way her hubby would let him have a doll :)

My sister got her newborn to "give" a present to her older sister, who in turn "gave" a present to the newborn. That seemed to work nicely. I don't have any suggestions on what you could give, sorry.
