Anyone had 2 episiotomies then another child? What happened with your next birth??

I had an episiotomy in hospital with both my DC (now 3 and 1.5) and I know there's alot of scar tissue there now. I'm planning a home birth with DC3 but I'm worried about how badly I could tear because of the scar tissue? Anyone got any experience or advice?

I had 2 episiotomies in hospital and then a home birth. My "newest" episiotomy was 8 years before DC3 so was VERY well healed. I didn't tear enough to need stitches after my home birth (but I did have a rather mahoosive haemorrhoid Blush that was uncomfortable for about 10 days or so - sorry TMI!) I did ask my MW about the possibility of an episiotomy at home and she said that they are not routinely offered as part of a homebirth. Thankfully not needed despite 9.5lb baby with a big head!
