Don't be silly! It's a good thing not a bad thing.

I'm sure everything will be fine. Mine stopped being sore around 9 weeks and I felt so much better because they felt like they were going burst before that!
Enjoy it LoveACuppaTea!!!!! xx

LoveACuppaTea · 13/04/2011 14:22

My breast tenderness/soreness symptoms came and went throughout the first tri and I got really worried too. I had some weeks where it was so bad I actually gasped and doubled over in pain when someone bumped into me at the station, then the next week it would be much less -- and then another week later the tenderness would be back with a vengeance. Hormones are quirky things in how they affect you and what a rollercoaster they put you through.

I'm now 19w, and I'm now a clear and (semi-)permanent two cup sizes bigger than pre-pregnancy. Thank goodness, they don't hurt any more.

Renaissance227 · 13/04/2011 14:32

Don't cry LoveACuppaTea. I got no other symptoms until I was around six/seven weeks and I can tell you now all of my symptoms have come and gone and then returned at varying times.
Trust me, EVERYTHING will be fine. Really xxx
PLEASE enjoy being symptom free for a while. Smile

I know it's hard, but worrying won't help?

FWIW I had a MMC last year ? baby stopped growing at 5w but my boobs were still incredibly sore at 9w (only found out I'd MC at 10w). I'm now 25 weeks and have had even less symptoms with this PG than the last one, sore boobs didn't even kick in until 6w and then went a couple of weeks later. Cue much crying from me, convinced it was another MMC, when actually all was fine! So I totally understand the worry.

An EPU won't scan you unless you're bleeding, so you have to assume that all's well until proven otherwise, or you'll just make yourself miserable and stressed (which is bad for baby too). Good luck!

Renaissance227 · 13/04/2011 14:59

Hope you're ok LoveACuppaTea. I know it's worrying but I really do think you will be just fine. Have you made a midwife appointment yet? xx

LoveACuppaTea · 13/04/2011 15:02

Well keep positive and enjoy being symptom free.
You'll feel better once you have seen the midwife/doctor and everything starts to get official!

Big hugs in the meantime. xxx

SerenaJoy · 13/04/2011 15:17

Mine were better some days than others as well. I was torn between being glad they weren't as sore, and being worried that it meant something bad was happening.

But the doc will set your mind at rest, and you'll probably wake up tomorrow with really painful ginormoboobs!

Oh, and congratulations Smile

Danilou22 · 13/04/2011 16:21

mine have hurt on and off throughout and I am 30 weeks now and all is fine. I have also worried throughout my pregnancy! As long as you are not cramping or bleeding try to relax and enjoy xx

I gave my DH a running commentary on my daily breast soreness at the start because it was pretty much the only symptom of pregnancy i had. I'd sit there prodding them, trying to decide if they were the same, more or less sore than the previous day and asking DH if he supposed everything was still ok. Same with morning sickness - it disappeared a few days after i found out i was pregnant and i was worried sick, pardon the pun.

DS, 5 months, is now fast asleep upstairs. Grin

Try not to worry - it's all perfectly normal.

Ernie1 · 13/04/2011 19:48

Lol at ginoroboobs!

I've been fairly symptom free so far too (I'm 5+5) and been worrying myself silly. Was updating H on which one was more sore each day aswell - yesterday he told me "your boobs don't look any bigger but your hips do" - what a charmer. Best I lay off the cakes for a bit.

So nice to read this thread with some positives to no symptoms!!

lolajane2009 · 13/04/2011 19:56

I wouldnt worry. As for the other symptoms you still might be a bit early for them.

PoppysMom · 14/04/2011 02:58

Oh dear, I had exactly the same this morning when I woke up.
They no longer hurt!
I was terrified and my DH tried his best to calm me down saying all will be well. We saw the heartbeat over a week ago and bean looked absolutely fine.

However, I have been prodding them all morning in the office (I have my own office at the moment) and they seem to be getting more tender again. Not sure if this is due to me prodding them though Hmm

I know it's nerveracking, but try not to worry.

Renaissance227 · 14/04/2011 09:01

Hope you are feeling better today LoveACuppaTea. Smile x

Can't believe how many lucky people are symptom free. Please enjoy it. I'm throwing up at least three times a day now and feeling bad all the time in between!

Beesok · 14/04/2011 09:36

LoveACuppa please don't worry :) although I totally understand and have done the same - I am one of those with very few symptoms, boobs hardly sore now, a little bigger but that's it, had very mild nausea that came and went and the only pg symptom was a blocked nose and terrible headaches which I am still having (13+4 now). I went to my 12 wk scan absolutely convinced that the baby had died and stopped growing, in fact I cried before they put the machine on only to see a kicking little thing pop up straight away :)

I know it's a long wait but try to forget about it and time will pass quicker and I am sure everything will be ok !! Fingers crossed and enjoy the lack of symptoms!!

LoveACuppaTea · 14/04/2011 10:03

okay so maybe i was over reacting..... boobs are agony by bedtime last night. they seem to be okay in the morning and build up in intensity as the day goes on!

Guess all the worrying is normal tho isnt it! We're all so desperate for everything to be okay that the slightest different thing can send our minds into a whirlwind of worry! xx

Im just the same as you. I had a mmc last year so am obsessing about every single thing with my body now. Mine are fine in the morning and worse in the evening too, although liable to hurt more after a good prodding session! Am also bothered by lack of nausea and disappearance of excess cervical fluid.
I wish I had some more symptoms but then again they are no guarantee and loads of people have healthy pg with no symptoms.
I can't wait to have a scan to get this waiting period over with.

nunnie · 14/04/2011 10:52

This is my 3rd and I have never had sore boobs at all during pregnancy, I get sore boobs when milk comes in after the birth. Also larger boobs was one symptom I was looking forward too, but I was a 32A when I got pregnant with number one and I am a 34A now and on my 3rd (can still fit in some of my 32A), so my back has got bigger but not my cup!
