symptom spotting or wishful thinking?

Hi, I am 39+2 and its my first...to say I am getting bored sitting around waiting is an understatement! I have had enough of the puffiness and backache/SPD! I have been having more and more BHs everyday over the last 2 days and overnight have had some crampy menstrual type cramping coinciding with the BHs which have only been uncomfortable in the past. Are things moving along or is it just wishful thinking?

Hi, I gave birth at 39+4 with both my DDs and had symptoms very similar to the ones you're describing for about couple of days before going into labour. I kept really busy my last couple of days (not out of choice) and I think that helped to keep me going. I'm on number 3 and hoping for a hat trick. Best of luck.

Thanks MonkeeMummy! Hopefully DD is at least thinking about masking an appearance....good excuse to do some carbohydrate loading just in case...I'm off to have some cake!
