2nd, 3rd pregnancy did you start to show a lot earlier?

I have heard that after your first your belly pops out sooner...I am wondering how much sooner?

tell me your experiences..

this is only my second but for various reasons I dont want to tell my family until 14 weeks...will i be able to hide it? also wondering how big I may be at my summer holidays...

I was in maternity jeans by 8 weeks! No chance of hiding it, I looked full term by the time of my 12 week scan

1st - didn't show untill 6 months.
2nd - 4 months
3rd - 3 months !!!! I am only 20 weeks and ,massive already

1st - started showing at 5+ months.
2nd - 9 maybe 10 weeks I'm almost 20wks now. They said it was normal after first pregnancy

Oh no! My first I didnt show until about 5+ months...

am seeing my mother at about 10 weeks...

didnt that bother any of you to tell people before you even have the scan to see if everything is ok?

I didn't tell anyone because I'd had 2 mcs before. I think when you're at that stage people are bit embarrassed to blurt out and ask you, because if you're not it's excrutiating. I did make a couple of comments along the lines of "God I've got to stop eating bread, I'm soooo bloated"

10 weeks and I am huge, mainly in the evenings though!!

2nd pg - not much earlier than with DC1.

3rd pg - much earlier but then we found out that it's twins......

We only told people after the first scan. I just kept wearing loose clothes and/or long scarves that would cover the bump

First one I showed earlier and put on lots of weight (4 stone by the end) despite throwing up every single day until I had her at 8 months.

This one I'm 22 weeks and look like I've swallowed a galia melon and that's it. Have lost weight (still throwing up) and can't budge up from 9 stone. Started to show, as such, about 2-3 weeks ago.

With my 1st and this one i showed at 12-14 weeks. I was asked directly but just laughed it off. I wore loose clothes, most people won't ask (its too risky), now i'm 15 weeks, and wearing tighter clothes lots have asked but thats fine by me.

i'm very similar to del1

1st - 6months
2nd - 5months
3rd - 3months and in Maternity work trousers already (15wks now!)

i'm gonna be huge!!!!

1st somewhere 6 months
2nd bit earlier than 6 months and I felt smaller the whole time!
3rd now 16weeks and already showing. Can wear still the same clothes but pretty much sure I will need to go shopping for some maternity trousers soon.

It´s very normal to be showing earlier if you are not some "body builder" :o ! Haven´t told no one yet, I will want to wait until 20 weeks if possible.

Didn't show with no 2 until 19 weeks-ish wearing a tight top. Now 30 weeks and have a large bump - larger than last time so not feeling too smug now...
