i am currently 40+10, so fed up of being pregnant, just want to meet my little one.

I had pretty rotten pregnancy sickness (I think morning sickness is a poor term) I was sick from 5weeks to 37weeks when i stopped work, threw up maybe 2 or 3 times a day, nothing really helped i just kept eating a little and often, and learnt what things i didn't like to throw up, so avoided milk etc...

Hope yours all stops at week 12-16 and you have better luck than i did

Maybe try those travel sickness bands.

Chewing mint flavoured gum helps me with motion sickness.

i had this with dd last year........

i was only 6 weeks when i was took in to the mat ward with it.......was put on a drip for couple days and given some anti sickness injections.....

terrible is an understatement -i couldnt bear any movement or anything.....i had a scan at 6 weeks as they thought it was maybe twins-but it wasnt :)

i had the travel sick bands too-helped a tiny bit,,,,,i was told to drink alot as it can be worse if u dehydrated-so i found sparkling bottles of water good......had one with me all time and helped alot.....

then moved onto milk shakes for some reason -i could manage them without feeling sick and just ate tiny amounts of plain food often....

was sick alot .....but it became more able to deal with ......it didnt fully go away but got more bearable.........

but i remember the early days and i was basicly housebound with it so can fully understand how horrible you must be feeling....

(((((hugs))))))

Sweets, I am finding constantly sucking on a mint humbug or chocolate eclair very very helpful.

i know the feeling

am now 18 weeks and now for some parts of some days i dont feel ill.
I have had HG and have been in hospital with it too Sad, and i had 7 weeks where i basicaly did nothing at all (except midwife / dr / accupuncture) and hardly got out of bed, except to toilet to be sick.

For me the only thing that i feel has made any difference for me is accupuncture.. and then having semi permenant needle plasters in my wrists (where travel bands go, but a needle)
This did something for me..... sometimes... not always

otherwise sit it out and in 6 - 10 weeks time you might start feeling better.

Hope yo feel better soon. i found trial and error, some things helped some days but 48 hours later the same thing made me be sick.
some of the only things i could bear in the early weeks, are now on my very short list of things i just cant eat!
