seriously think im pregnant again - advice please

Hi, I had a MC on the 15th mar and bled till the 27th. Now I'm certain I'm pregnant again,what I want to know is when do I test again?????? I hope someone knows as I don't! Thanks

how pg were you when you mc'd? I've had 2 mcs at 7 weeks and each time got pg the very next cycle, so the epu used the day of my mc as the first day of my cycle and dated my pregnancy from that. If that's the case with you, then you're almost four weeks on from your mc, so in theory I guess you can test now. It depends on lots of factors though, how far along you were, how quickly your hormone levels fell etc... however, in theory you could test now.

Do you know when you think you ovulated?

Assuming that you ovulated after you stopped bleeding, I wouldn't try testing until the May Bank Holiday weekend.

awww don't be scared. It's trite I know but I'm a great believer in what will be will be. I had two mcs back to back, one cycle after another and the third time everyone (well my mum) kept saying "third time lucky" and I was bricking it because I thought she was tempting fate. I made all sorts of pacts with God, the universe and everyone. Just let this one stick. And it did. Though I'm sure it was nothing to do with all my crossed fingers and going lalalalala with my fingers in my ears whenever my mum said "third time lucky" for the thousandth time that day.

I really hope you're lucky this time. What makes you so certain you're pg? Have you got a good epu near you? Mine were fabulous, no referral needed, walk in and have a scan every time. I sat on my hands until 8 weeks because I was determined to avoid having an inconclusive scan. I didn't even test until I was 7 weeks gone because I was so paranoid. But like I said, it was meant to be that time. I hope it's meant to be for you this time too.

This sounds exactly like what happened to me last year. I MC on the 15th March, bled for 10 days, had no period inbetween and was pregnant when I tested on the 5th April

Your hormone levels from your previous PG (sorry for your loss) will be so low that they will be unlikely to register with a test so therefore it is highly likely that yes you are indeed PG (congrats).

What I would suggest is contacting your epu and ask for a blood test to confirm the pg (for peace of mind) and then ask for a follow up one a few days later to check hormones are doubling as they should.

You should also be offered an early scan.

Sorry I misread..... you obviously haven't tested yet but if you do and it is positive I would try to get those bloody tests to eliminate any doubt.

Oh ur all so lovely thanks for the response. I suspect I'm pregnant again as I am so moody/snappy/emotional. This is what I was like when I was prior to the MC. I did think I was going mad until I realised I was pregnant now I have the same symptoms again now.. My dh will start to suss soon also as he knew the moods etc were preg hormones

Have you taken a test yet to know for sure?
