Copper coil + 5 wks pregnant with number 4!

I have just discovered that i am 5 wks pregnant with my 4th baby.
I had a copper coil fitted after my last baby (11mths). I wish i didn't bother.

I was having some abdo pain and went in to hospital, only to discover i am pregnant. The doctors thought it may be ectopic- but thank god they have ruled this out.
I am worried because the Doctor's tried to remove the coil on two occasions. However, it is stuck very far up, and has somehow folded itself into the right side of my womb. The scan i have had today shows the baby on the left side- sitting parallel to the coil. Doctor's have said that there is a risk of miscarriage.

Has this ever happend to anyone? Does it hurt, or poke the baby if it stays in there throughout the pregnancy?

To make matters worse, this will be my 4th section, so i have some scar tissue and general risk of rupture etc if i go ahead with baby. I am not happy to terminate, but am really scared about what lies ahead. The doctor said i had a very big decision to make, but i cant bear the thought terminating.

Any advice appreciated....

Thank you, Dr said that i will need close monitoring throughout pregnancy. I hope i am doing the right thing by going ahead. I dont like the thought of that nasty coil sitting in there with my baby.
