I'm crying at Merlin fgs. He's so young and beautiful and his Mum loves him.

I was reading Philip Pullman His Dark Materials the other day and sobbing uncontrollably. The sounds you make when you start laughing at yourself for crying! Not dignified... :)

Oh God Arthur turned up. He's so handsome and prattish.

When I was pregnant with dd I went to the supermarket to buy some bubble bath. I stood in the aisle staring at the vast selection and cried. There were so many to choose from and there were so many colours and I just kept thinking, if I can't choose bubble bath, how will I raise a child. I was gently led to a back room and given tea. True story.

hahaha! That made me laugh out loud! how far along were you?!

Very, very pregnant. Taking up most of the aisle pregnant.

In early pregnancy I was equally volatile. I was physically held back by dh in the same supermarket. The chap in the queue in front of me was frail and elderly and in his basket he had value soup and dog food. Nothing else. I think I was going to try and adopt him. DH took me home, sobbing again.

This is pregnancy number 3 and I've been hormonal all of the way through it - mostly sobbing at things rather than being shouty.

I've done the supermarket thing as well. I went into the supermarket to get something for dinner while dh went into the shop next door. I picked up a basket and realised my mind had gone blank and I was completely overwhelmed with making a choice. I had to call dh to come and rescue me before I started crying Blush. It was like I was frozen to the spot, I couldn't even have put the basket back and walked out.

I weld up today after sending my DH a text saying how much i loved him and hoped the first time he holds our baby girl he would have no regrets on being with me (messy past etc) sat on my bed staring at her cot crying my eyes out for about 20 mins!! :(

PenguinArmy · 13/04/2011 19:27

I'm 13 weeks and only just holding it together

adalle · 13/04/2011 19:27

lineontheleftone... made me laugh too DH wanted to know whats so funny I can't tell him too early it will scare him. He can't decide what would be worse me going through the menopause or me getting emotional with PG!

Just reading it I too would have adopted the old man. X

I am a massive 33 week hormonal blob, here are some examples...

My left handed dh casually read out the fact that left handed people die on average 9 years before right handed people. I'm right handed. I burst in to tears.

I read on t'internet that some cultures believe that babies that are breech are holding on to there mothers hearts because their mums have been sad. My baby is breech. I burst in to tears.

During my first pregnancy 9 years ago I watched a trash t4 type programme about Atomic Kitten on tour. One of them was really home sick and I was crying all day worrying about her!!
