Who's at the birth? Homebirth with older kids?

Am having a homebirth and am a bit stuck.

Have always had DH there and my mum, last time my sister came too incase the older kids woke (they didn't)

But I found them to be a bit irritating throughout and have been struggling with my mum lately so not sure if I want her there this time.

However i'm due during school holidays so in all likelihood i will need someone else here apart from DH.

If its the day time its not so bad as I can call my mum and ask her if she will pick the kids up and take them to hers.

but if its night - as all my others havebeen - then the 'babysitter' will have to be here in case they wake up and I can't ask her to wait upstairs!

DH was suggesting MIL be here this time but I'm not keen on that either TBH.

What did you do?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
