Second breech baby

hi my ds1 was in breech from week 1 to week 38 when I had an ecv. This time, I am having a girl and she has been the same. Both are like dancing little meer cats with their heads up high and flapping feet in my groin. Just trying to work out if I can do the ecv again as it hurt more than giving birth with no pain relief!

Does anyone know why I would carry my babies in breech?? I have tried all the usual stuff to move them but I think they just like it there! So i thought if I could understand why I carry them in breech I might come up with a more specific solution!

Here's hoping.......

Both my DDs were breech and my money's on DC3 being breech too. I've been told that I have a misshapen womb, which means they get stuck in position and are unable to turn after a certain stage. I don't know how you would check for this - mine was picked up when I had an elective CS with DD1. I don't know whether it's the sort of thing they could scan for?

I had a breech baby, and someone said to me (or maybe I read it on the internet) that a cause can be the shape of your womb. Which you obviously can't do anything about. Or maybe just unfortunate luck??

An unusual shape uterus can be to blame. It can also be due to the mother being tense, meaning that her uterus is tense and thus the baby is unable to turn. A HypnoBirthing Practitioner may be able to help you with this. How far along are you?
