Am I paranoid or should I call?

I went in for monitoring a couple of weeks ago as I hadn't felt the baby move much. I was told off for not going sooner Blush. All was fine and turned out the baby had moved position and due to anterior placenta I couldn't feel most of the movements.

Today (32 weeks) I have been aware that the baby isn't moving that much, or at least I don't think it is. I have taken myself off to lie down and count and I think there were at least 10 but once I'm up again I don't feel them. This is unlike the past couple of weeks (since the hospital visit) where I could feel them when moving around.

I think I'm worse today as we have taken the baby bits down from the loft and put up the cot (this is my third) and instead of being all excited about it I feel dread that something will go wrong.

So should I call the hospital even though I have been feeling some movements or should I just get a grip!?!

I would call definately. Just not worth taking a risk with. Good luck - hope all is well x

There's no harm in calling them - it's worth it just to put your mind at rest. Good luck x

Call them. It's probably nothing but it's far better to call and risk, at worst, a midwife inwardly sighing and thinking you're overreacting than to not call and risk there being something that needs monitoring or, at the very least, spending the next few days worrying.
