Contractions at 30 wks with dd1 -should i be extra careful now?

I am expecting my second baby and am 22 weeks. Yesterday I felt I had overdone it (visited a farm with dd and dh and did lots of walking then went shopping all via public transport), in the evening could hardly walk due to back ache and my bump was sore near the bottom.
With dd1 I had contractions in hospital and was monitored for a few days until they subsided. Should I be worried about them happening again? YEsterday brought it all back. I went to bed at 9.30pm and got up at 9.30am thanks to dh, but I'm feeling scared this morning that I could be getting to a stage where bump is sensitive to doing too much esp at 22 weeks!
Anyone any experience with similar?
I feel like if I exert myself I will trigger contractions maybe I am being paranoid. I also have to work full-time and go in with my laptop on my back via train etc...
Thanks

Have you spoken to your doctor or MW about what set off the early contractions before? I would be careful not to overdo it but i doubt you've caused any problems. If you are worried about the amount you need to carry for work I would speak to them about it. They should have given you a proper risk assessment before now that covers all that kind of thing.

Hmm never had a risk assessment done. I will ask for one. Thanks.

And yes, I must check to see what started them last time.
Thanks :)
