Amalgam filling has just fallen out - need reassurance

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and have just lost a filling. Am sitting here worrying about the mercury affecting my baby and trying not to google.

Anyone had any experience of this with a positive outcome?

This happened to me and it wasn't a big deal, I had it replaced with a temporary white filling a couple of days later :)

I'm not a troll and I really am that paranoid. It's reassuring that you're ridiculing me fortyplus .

My dp is away and have noone to talk sense to me, and there's some scary stuff out there on the net! Thanks cherry, you've made me feel better.

I'm ancient and my precious babies are 15 and 17 now so it's funny to look back and remember how terrifying it all was to start with! Things like getting an Indian takeaway and finding a piece of pink chicken so thinking I'd get salmonella and miscarry. Oh yes I remember it well! Wait till your pfb starts to learn to drive!!
