Ok, so I know its a normal pregnancy thing but its getting ridiculous now. I am 25 weeks pregnant and I can't even get through a one hour lesson at work (I'm a teacher) without needing a wee. I go out to walk my dogs and within 5 mins need to go...I had to wee in the bushes the other day! I must have about 5 wees before bed. I guess it must be the position of the baby.

Any tips/magic solutions?!? Or at least share your wee stories so I know It's not just me :)

I'm only 16 weeks, but definitely noticing needing to go more. Can't think of any tips, sorry.

Make sure your midwife checks your next sample for protein. I've been going to the loo what seems like every 5 mins since I found out I was pregnant. Nothing came up in any of my antenatal checks until the one I had yesterday (with a different MW than I usually have interestingly) and she seemed very concerned about the amount of protein I had in my sample. She's sent it off for further testing and I might be put on antibiotics to clear up a poss infection. I don't have any other symptoms though so it might still just be plain being pregnant! I'm 25 weeks too by the way.

I've learnt to try not to drink too much later in the day, get most of my liquids in earlier and then I can manage to get through the night with only getting up twice instead of the once every hour that it was before.

Other than that, no tips from me I'm afraid, I just try and make sure I know there is facilities wherever I'm going and thank goodness that maternity trousers are easy to pull up and down!

Does your bub move alot? Mine is a right wriggler and it seems like its all low down so I wonder whether its position of baby like you say??

Best tip I've had so far is to lean forward as far as you can when you go to the loo, it helps your bladder empty completely and gives you a little more time before the next visit. Seems a bit weird, but it completely saved me in the first tri.

But also agree with getting your urine tested as more frequent urination can be a UTI symptom.
