I'm having this pain at the moment also feel like i've been kicked in the crutch! . I saw MW yest and she said the baby was just moving down and the pain was muscles and everything stretching. I'm 34 weeks. if your worried phone for an appointment but i'm sure it's probably just the usually lovely pregnancy niggles! try not to worry.:)

Oh that was me yesterday, aches and pains like never before and a dodgy tum too, 34 weeks and really thought it was starting..has settled today though. Am hoping the same as you that it is just the normal niggles for this stage, but my word it did NOT feel like niggles!

Think thats what it is to be fair, feel all shivery too. Had lots of movement for ages and wondered if it was moving down.

Just sent husband out for a feast and cornetto as really fancy them ;)

Oooh I'm 29 weeks and just started feeling this - is it too early to be feeling braxton hicks? Had about 10-20 today.....

Caz10 · 07/04/2011 21:51

Whatever they are they are bloody sore!!

thelizard · 07/04/2011 22:23

hi all, snap with me too. I had lots of BH which turned into fairly regular contractions last week. Started out about 10 in an hour, then every 2 minutes for about 5 hours. All eased off after a bit, but the baby is now fully engaged. When I was telling MW she thought it might have been baby moving down and engaging which set it all off.

Now lying down, eating haribo and extreme nesting!!

Caz10 · 07/04/2011 22:28

Oh how many weeks are you thelizard? I do definitely feel like something is afoot, but I'm only 34 weeks and not able to lie down for a few weeks yet! Were you not thinking the baby was on its way?!!

sarahbeth2 · 10/04/2011 10:44

Just quick update, ended up in hospital, not braxton hicks but some sort of infection so they kept and monitored me. Didnt feel right and had a fever, i guess best thing to do is ring and ask, i did feel silly but then not when they said i had a fever etc...

Aaw what a shame, uou did the right thing to ring then! Hope you pick up soon!!

I was 33 weeks. We were starting to think the baby was on the way.... Got a bit scary when the midwives were saying there were no cots in special care etc etc. But had some paracetemol and all calmed down, phew. Now taking nesting to the extreme, was so worried in the hospital as we had literally nothing ready, so this has given us a massive push and we have spent the weekend washing babythings and packing bags. How are you all feeling now?

Caz10 · 10/04/2011 18:02

Just occasional twinges here, nothing lasting. 5 weeks to go now (and still no baby stuff down from the loft Grin!)

Good luck getting to 40 weeks everyone!!
