hi there,

I am ttc dc2 and there is a chance that i could be 6 weeks when we go on holiday. There is a hot tub at the house and i don't know whether or not I can use it. Does anyone know?

thanks

I disagree. Just use your common sense and get out if you feel you are getting too hot (same applies to the bath). Veer on the cautious side of things and you will be fine. If it doesn't look well-maintained or clean enough, avoid. If it's quite warm in there and you're not sure, just dangle your lower legs in. If you feel happy and comfortable and not too hot, lie back and enjoy the relaxation. Honestly.

These signs are like everything else aimed at pg women (and children, for that matter). They really mean 'don't do anything at all apart from the bare minimum because a) we don't want to risk being sued, and b) we can't be arsed to test whether any of this is actually really dangerous in population terms. In actual fact, the flight you take to get there will probably be statistically speaking more dangerous than anything you do when you get there, unless you're planning to ride a hired moped whilst pissed.
