I have done slimming world on and off for years and I know you can join it pregnant just to help manage the weight. I cant get to a club and it wont let me join on line but all I need to know is the rules when pregnant - can anyone tell me?

Am desperate - put on 5 and 1/2 stone with twins and 4 and 1/2 stone with last single!!!

Pregnancy yoga might be a good starting place? Swimming is also an excellent way of keeping trim during pregnancy, as it exercises every muscle in the body simultaneously?

have you experimented with different types of diet? What I mean is, I discovered (after being diagnosed with GD in my first pregnancy) that the low sugar , wholemeal type diet seemed to fit with me much better than a low fat one and I only put on about 1 1/2 stone in total (I actually lost 1/2 stone in the middle of the pg when I started the GD diet). I have been doing the same thing this time round and at 35 weeks have only put on just over a stone. Its basically a Glycemic Index type diet. Avoid refined white carb, fruit juice, fruit cordials (though no added sugar squash is ok) and try to concentrate on slow release, wholemeal and brown alternatives. (Sainsburys do wholemeal hot cross buns which are a bit of a lifesaver). Good luck
