Ok ? I?ve just read the ?down there? post and whilst trying not to wet myself laughing whilst reading it at work :) it did make me wonder when things REALLY start to change.

I?m 19+1 and apart from my constant moaning about weight gain, clothes not fitting me, bigger b**bs, flabby bump, emotions and feeling sick etc ? it?s not too bad. I know it?s going to really ramp up in the next 20 weeks but wondered what should I expect and when?

Swollen ankles and legs?
Breathlessness?
Stretch Marks?
Kicking all night?

Come on ladies ? give it your best shot!

Thanks for scaring the pants off me in advance! x

Breathlessness - 25 weeks onwards at 34 weeks can hardly make it upstairs with out really panting.

Swollen ankles ? try swollen legs!!! Look like elephants legs at the moment. Doesnt help DH keeps pointing this out.

Stretch marks - lucky havnt had these yet but Im waiting, im sure they will appear in very strange places.

Kicking at night - oh if only! kicking all the time expecially if I lay on my right for too long, the LO doesnt like it and really kicks me in the ribs!

Hairy legs and other areas - 28 weeks onwards, no way I can get down there and even though DH says he will hasnt put his hand up yet.

Acid -reflux and the return on the morning sickness - as of now 34 weeks! Hating this bit. Sucking on an antacid tablet isnt that nice but does kind of help.

Bad back - have had this all the way through but it is worse at the moment.

You won't necessarily get all the horrible stuff!

I had heartburn for the last 4 weeks or so, just at night. A pack of Remegel by the side of the bed sorted it.

A few stretchmarks from about 30w but not terrible.

No swollen legs/feet/night kicking/hairy legs etc - felt sick all the way through but I got used to it so felt I had got off quite lightly. Hopefully you will too!

just relised how harsh I had made it sound! sorry. lol

Don't assume you'll get everything! I've never had swollen legs, stretchmarks or heartburn, and that's through 2 pregnancies. And yes, I know I am very lucky! I did get backache later on, and restless legs in the evening though, and that used to drive me mad.

I'm currently 23 wks pg with twins, and this time things are a bit different. I've got pelvic pain already which I never had before, and I do get breathless too, which I don't remember before. I guess twins is a different ball game.

Sending you lots of luck for a hassle free pregnancy.

Stop panicking! You won't get all of these unless very unlucky! I am pg with my 4th and have had no swollen legs or feet, no stretchmarks, no saggy boobs, no breathlessness (apart from in the 1st trimester, gone now luckily), kicking frequency depends on where the placenta is. If its at the front you mightn't feel too much at all.
On the other hand....I did get horrendous heartburn from 17 weeks onwards every time, and def don't even think about looking down below until at least 9 months after the event, it does return to normal, but no point alarming yourself in the meantime!
