Lots of waiting Wink wind, constipation, worry over everything, larger knickers, piles.

I am sure there is more but can't think, oh yes forgetfulness is another thing.

Congratualtions and enjoy, it is all worth it in the end.

backaches, uncomfortable orgasms during sex, strange pains as your body shifts, struggling to stay awake and lots of other delights.

oh the joys.

Beans1977 · 07/04/2011 11:11

Hi Vix - congratulations! :)

I second what nunnie says about lots of waiting. I'm nearly 12 weeks and the waiting until the precious scan (next week!) has felt like years.

ShowOfHands · 07/04/2011 11:13

Sciatica, piles, vulval varicose veins, stretchmarks, nosebleeds, vomiting, lethargy, wind, constipation, swollen ankles, carpal tunnel, crying for no damn reason, loss of libido, libido overdrive, pulled ligaments, heartburn, reflux, breathing issues, anaemia.

Nah, probably not. Maybe though...

Baby's quite nice at the end of it all.

Congrats! I'm 16 weeks with my first (so hardly a veteran!) and have been feeling fine so far. My early symptoms of slight nausea and tiredness have subsided.

Make sure you wash your hands after playing with your cat. Don't want to make you paranoid or anything, but there is always a risk of toxoplasmosis. I have pets too, but am being a little careful just in case.

Leilababyno1 · 07/04/2011 18:07

Agree with ShowOfHands......!

It ain't fun

[don't listen to me though, I am 37 weeks and very much over the 'happy pregnancy' stage]

Congratulations hun! December is a lovely time to have a baby..Smile

Hey

congratulations.

i really hope you dont get HG (99% of people dont so should be fine)
If you are in that 1% like me, look forward to a few months bedridden, unable to move, and only attending drs / midwifes appts, and getting prescriptions for sickness. (oh and vomitting!)
Oh and then you can get severly dehydrated and be admitted to hospital for IV rehydration. Some even get to be fed IV'ly as well! (i was lucky and didnt have that bit)
Be prepared to feel like a whale, have a wardrobe full of clothes that dont fit and be up and down all night to pee.

Not experiance the last half yet.

Really good luck and congrats on being pg Smile and enjoy the best Xmas present ever Grin
