Hi
Anyone know if fake tan is ok to use while pregnant, or is it better avoided?

Fake tan is ok, although the results you had before from a particular brand may not be the same as your skin is supposed to be more sensitive, so maybe do a patch test first. I always use clinique and it was the exact same result. (As a side note - hair dye is the same, you are more prone to having an allergic reaction due to hormonal changes or something so best to do a patch test before use, even if it's one you always use! And I used one without amonia (sp) with all the windows open!)

The only thing I found I wasn't able to do is have a spray tan, as apparently you are inhaling the particles and its not good for the baby. Which is fair enought really, makes sense. It's on my list of things to do after I pop the nugget out!

I had a St Tropez at 5 months, and it was lush. Baby fine. Grin

Thanks for the replies! I usually use one at home, and am dying to use a bit! Will aim to find one without amonia. May try the Clinique one in fact!
