Should I be worried?

Hello,
Just hoping for some reassurance and to see if anyone else has been in the same position. Everything seems to be going on as it should be - I had a midwife check-up last week - all my blood tests were fine, the baby's heartbeat is strong - so all appears normal and I am now 17+3 weeks. My bump is even starting to show. Finally! :)
The thing is - I felt the baby move around 15 weeks, only a small faint flutter and only for a few seconds but since then nothing! Am I over-reacting? Or am I feeling it but perhaps thinking it's wind Blush

I wouldn't worry too much. It's so early on that you're not likely to feel it moving every day. I went for days without really feeling any movement before my twenty week scan but the little one was fine.

Definitely do not worry. I had exactly the same and it's only now at 22+ weeks that he is kicking me every day - and some days are still much quieter than others.

Oh thanks guys, that's made me feel better!

You sound as though you're reassured, but just to add to that, I felt early movements (DD3) and then nothing for a good few weeks. I was very worried, convinced I'd miscarried but all was fine and now at 25 weeks I'm having my insides pummeled as we speak Smile.

i didnt start to feel mine regularly until about 24 weeks. i have an anterior placenta so I know that makes a difference but I certainly dont' think there's any reason to worry so early. i know we're not 'supposed' to but i have a home doppler i hired for £10 a month so if i was worried i would just listen in. i know they're not recommended but I found it helped a lot in the endless weeks where I was waiting to feel something!

I'm 27 weeks and have been feeling movement on and off for 18 weeks. Some days I feel next to nothing and forget the baby's there! Some days, lots of kicking. Try not to worry.

Hi Buranda
I'm 19+6 and have felt it since 25 weeks!
Although my bambino has a sleeping pattern opposite to mine which is quite common.
It could just be that your baby is a big sleeper and is awake and kicking whilst you are sleeping!!
I have a home doppler too, the 'angelsounds' one, £20 from ebay. woukd defo reccomend one if you are a worrier like me :)

Congratulations to all of you lovely ladies!!
