Hi,
Tried reading the book when I was pregnant with ds2, but as soon as the pain kicked in forgot it all. Thought maybe a CD would be better!
Anyone tried it, and what did you think?!!!

I used one from about 34 weeks with dd, think it was Maggie Howells. Tried to listen once a day, did just the relaxation part if nothing else. Ended up with high blood pressure at 39+3, despite my best efforts to deep breathe and follow the techniques. BUT don't let that put ypu off, because i was then induced and had a fantastic birth with no pain relief until the final half hour when i had g&a to push. Had a tiny tear as dd decided to come superman style into the world. have felt very positive since the birth and have only dissolved into tears once during a mammoth feeding and unsettled day! At 6 wks old my dd is relatively content and sleepoing 6 hours straight at night and i think that the CD was very helpful despite sceptic dh saying otherwise. Best of luck!
