anyone else enjoying last final pregnancy/baby!!!!

I am over the moon!!! after coming off depo 3 yrs ago and leaving it to fete before knuckling down in Sept 10 and actually trying we got our BFP. i have an 11yr old son from a previous and DH has 2 x sons 13 & 11 and we have our gorgeous DD 5ys together. as my 2 bubbas were happy accidents - i really wanted one more baby to feel complete and put to bed my reproducing days lol i am so fortunate and grateful to be given the opportunity to be a mummy again and even though i am only 5 weeks I am telling all and sundry so I can make the most out of every moment of my last pregnancy!!!

its really funny as i only remember certain snippets of my previous pregnancy as they were so long ago and i really want to remember everything about this one so might have to start a cheesy journal lol!!!

this time round I am also fortunate enough to be working in a maternity unit as a maternity care assistant so I know a huge amount about pregnancy and birth ( which some midwives say is a curse knowing lol) but this time I am able to have hand picked midwifery care with 2 really good friends I have asked to deliver me and this time I want a home water birth!!!!

is anyone else on their last baby??? how different do you feel this time??? are you doing anything differently???? I only BF my daughter for 4 mths but this time I want to do it longer!!!

hiya, this is our 3rd, and final together (we did say that with #2 aswell, but for several reasons this really will b). at first i felt excited, am now 18weeks and almost feel quite sad that this is it and we won't b going through this excitement ever again-and it's going so quickly!!! :-(
bf both of ours for around 6months-actually must have been longer, as i was pregnant with dc2 when i gave up breastfeeding sc1

Hi, I'm also hoping to find out any day now that I'm having my last PG. Am on CD34 & know somethings going on but not sure what yet .

We thought we'd stop at 2, then I changed our minds & we got our DD after 2 DS's. But I've suddenly got the urge to do it all one last time. I love being PG & have had 3 pain free births so love them too . I know, everyone thinks I'm mad!

I have kept a PG journal with each, & love reading back over it. They were such special times in my life.

You said you're 5wks. When did you test to find out for sure & did you experience any symptoms straightaway? I can't stand this not knowing. Doesn't feel like I'm gonna get AF but did cheapy test today with BFN.

I'm currently 16 weeks into what will be my 3rd and final time. I am doing nothing differently apart from getting less sleep than my body requires as my youngest is only 6 months, hence the final pregnancy!

I do kn ow how you feel though. When i had my 3rd pregnancy 6 years after my 2nd i was determined to enjoy it and actually i do enjoy it until i get to the 3rd trimester and realise why i hate it iykwim.

Thats just me though, i get spd and all sorts.

Congratulations! I had dd2 in November and it was a lovely time to have a baby, just before Christmas and youre all snuggled up with yiur newborn :)

Final one here too as being sterilised while on the table this time :) I'm not enjoying pregnancy at all, this is 3rd pregnancy but numbers 4 and 5 as had twins last time too. Can't wait to not have to worry about being pregnant ever again to be honest!! 3 weeks left until they want to take them out at 38 weeks :)

I'm on number 6, 10 weeks tomorrow until c-section & dh will be getting a vasectomy. This pregnancy hasn't been as bad as my last one - I'm still puking regularly though, usual aches & pains, awful heartburn and this time I have PUPPs which is crap. I don't enjoy pregnancy at all - but at least having awful pregnancies makes life with a newborn easy in comparison - I'm looking forward to getting baby out, retiring my uterus & getting on with the rest of my life

This my 4th and last . my husband is getting a vasectomy after this one. I am really enjoying it but can't wait to finish work. I am finishing as early as possible so thats a week tomorrow. I can't wait to spend the summer with my other 3dc and getting ready for the new arrival. I am making sure I get everything I want this time and making the most of everything.

leaky i tested 2 days before i was due on and was negative - also did a test on the day after i was due (a sneaky hospital one) which also came up negative 3 days after i was due on i went and bought 4 digital clearblue ones and did 3 all of which were BFP!! i didnt feel at all pregnant and was worried when i tested positive that it was just a chemical pregnancy because of lack of symptoms but then 4 days after BFP it kicked in with nausea (never been sick) and the sorest tenderest boobs and nipples (sorry if TMI) and now the lathargy has kicked in and after th school run yesterday i got on the bed for 15 mins before cooking dinner - 2 hours later hubbie woke me when he got in lol!!!

I so wish i had done a journal with each pregnancy but as the other two were accidents and lots needed sorting out like moving home aswell as other stuff i never thought about it!!! am going to do it this time though and have started one on an iphone app but think i will buy a diary too!!

i would have another 7 if i could I love being pregnant and have (touch wood) had quick easy deliveries and adore newborns, breastfeeding and the whole shebang - love kids in general though my 11yr old is pushing my buttons at the moment with the grunting, lack of personal hygiene and strops lol

#4 and last here too. 24 weeks today.

I'd carry on until 6 probably but I don't think my body would last that long and I don't want to end up looking like an old woman before I am one IYKWIM?!

I think I'm hoping that this one stays breech so I can opt for a section then get my tubes tied at the same time. I'd rather do that than book another appointment for an op when I've got more children to find childcare for!

Thanx for that Glenda. If you look on the thread about anyone's AF due yesterday, today or tomorrow in the Conception section you'll see I've just put on there about my circumstances. I think my AF is just arriving. feel ok though as we weren't actually trying to conceive but need to decide big time if it's what I (should say we really but it'll probably come down to me at end of day) really want.

I'm 32 weeks gone with number 3 and last here.

tbh, I've had enough. I always hoped we'd have 4 children but this pregnancy has been really hard on me, DH and the rest of the family. I was a horrible, nasty person to live with for the first 4 months, then I had flu with nasty complications. After about 20 weeks things improved and now I just feel fat, lazy, tired and useless. It isn't going to get any better until the baby pops.

I've been growing babies, or trying to grow babies continuously for nearly 6 years and I want my body back. I want to be able to sleep at night. I want to be able to exercise without feeling I'm taking nutrition away from a baby. So really I'm just counting down until I stop breastfeeding.

DH is having the snip as soon as this one pops and I'll be on long acting contraception after I finish breastfeeding. Tube tying does sound interesting though.
