Has anyone used any day by day / week by week or calendar / tracking apps? Any recommendations?

Thanks on advance.

I have baby bump (mainly because it was free)... it is american so the medical advice is a bit off and also I think there's some confusion with the way the US count your date.. they do the week you're approaching rather than the week you're in.
but it was free!!!

ALittleLemonTwist · 05/04/2011 08:49

I really like 'What to expect'. And was free!

I use iPregnancy by Gregory P Moore costs £2.39 and gives weekly updates - info on Baby, Mother and for Father and 2D and 3D photos. They are also very helpful if you need to email them for help.
I also have the BabyCentre's Pregnancy app, which gives weekly baby updates and daily info and some very interesting videos too - this one was FREE.

I use babybump too, if you upgrade it (£2 i think) you get access to kick counters/contraction counters etc. I love that app, its also got a very good supportinge UK forum in the community section as well.

Oh thanks so much all - will check those out... must remember not to leave my phone lying about before we've told people though!

I use the free Baby Centre one too and I really like the useful info it gives on a daily basis as well as some interesting vids.

I second the Baby Centre one though just away to download the other free ones.

Yeah careful who you lend your phone to before you tell people I got outed to a girl at work cos she wanted to look at my music and saw my pregnancy podcasts!!

I use Sprout Pregnancy Essentials. It is UK specific and love the images!

glendathegoodwitch · 06/04/2011 09:33

i have got sprout, baby centre and baby bump - think baby bump is the better one at the mo as it has daily information as well as weekly!! i love the baby namer section where you can add favourite names (im only 5 weeks so im secretly compiling a list lol) its is americanised but pregnancy is pregnancy and i find it interesting the differences when you go through the birthplan checklists ie delaying baby's eye medication????? and a whole bit about circumcision!!!!

I use BabyBump and What to Expect. Both have daily & weekly info (some of the tips are hilarious and I particularly enjoy the vegetable/fruit comparisons - e.g. this week your baby is the size of a papaya).

LuluLozenge · 06/04/2011 17:54

I liked the 'what to expect' app too. It's a little bit ... American/twee, but very informative, I learned a lot from it. For example - this week (27) my partner and I have been experimenting with shining at torch at my belly and him trying to listen to the heartbeat! Lots of little tips like that.
