well, have already called my midwife today (and a friend who is a midwife) buttt... i just wanted to double triple check with you guys...
i do feel baby move every day... but sometimes it feels stronger than others and some days its more than others, and im freaking out... just feel like i should be feeling it all the time and im not... worried it might not be ok in there.. they should invent a little window you can open just to check its cooking ok.

what are anyones experiences on this?

Hi, please don't freak out! Your baby will be asleep for a lot of the time and you won't feel anything. Also you will only feel some movements, not others - it depends which way round everything is. He or she is definitely stil in there :)

How far along are you?

Finessa · 05/04/2011 00:14

Mine always seems to wake up at 2am. I've no idea why!

madhattershouse · 05/04/2011 00:18

If you lay flat on your back this often sets them off moving! Just a thought if you get worried. Having had 3 pregnancies I can honestly say the movements varied throughout and with each pregnancy. Later in pregnancy they have less room so the movements become smaller..but if they ever seem to stop get in touch with MW. Try not to worry..if they are moving then they are fine!!

cowboylover · 05/04/2011 00:39

MW said less than 10 movements a day is a concern otherwise its fine when I asked so I am sure its fine!

I am awake now as she is doing some crazy moves but then is quiet all morning so I think that must be when she sleeps.

Do you notice any patterns in the movements? eg more in certain positions or times of day/night?

sarahmia · 05/04/2011 08:09

I'm 24 weeks... I do find the nighttime is more active than the day... I just find some of the movements are so light, maybe that's cos of the anterior placenta? Think I'm just very anxious.

I feel movement every day but the baby is definitely more active some days that others and its always been like that (am 36+1 now)
