Hi,
Im 33 weeks and was wanting to build the cot and set up the nursery tomorow.
The bedding and sheets are all freshly washed, as are the baby clothes.
Just not sure if its still a little early to be doing the cot etc??

I have had mine up for ages (am 34 weeks now) so I would say go for it. You never know when baby may appear!!

My DS1 came at 33+5, so definitely not to early I would say!!! In fact as I was in the final stages of the unexpected early labor, all I could think was....but nothing's bloody ready!!!!!
Good luck!!!!!

Yes, then you won't be stressed like I am at 36 weeks. We don't have plaster on the all the walls in our nursery and don't have any furniture as there is nowhere else to put it and we need to finish the plastering and decorating before we can put it in there. I am now resigned to the possibility that we will have the baby before the nursery is finished.

errrrr no, I'm 25 weeks and we just finished ours! Its baby #1 so I am perhaps a tad excited :)

I'm 31 weeks and mine is all but done - hospital bag packed too.

I did wonder if I was being a tad over organised, but now that I'm finding myself increasingly knackered after any task, I'm glad it's done...

I'm 36+1 and nothing is organised although I think we have most things we'll need. DH is painting the nursery this week but I'm not planning on putting the cot up until I'm about 39 weeks. Everything (clothes, cot sheets etc) still needs to be washed but it will have to wait until after I finish work next week.

Not too early in my opinion - I'm 32 + 2 and we did most of ours a couple of weeks ago. Cot is up, clothes are hanging up/in drawers, nappies are purchased. We do need to get a new mattress for the moses basket we've been given though, and get sheets and stuff for the cot, so halfway there, and hey, as they said, he/she could always arrive early...

Have fun!

Nevet too early, do it now while you still have the energy.

I painted at 16 weeks and now at 21 weeks I have almost bought eveything. Go for it!
