Hi, I'm posting on here just in case anyone knows what this is, as I can't find any answers through google or speaking to a dr!

I'm 21 weeks pregnant, and today I had sudden severe burning breast pain - both breasts burning inside and out. It was pure agony so I started getting ready to go to A & E... then after 10 minutes it went away again.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

My guess would be breast changes, everything getting ready to make milk, etc. I'm 17 weeks and mine feel like they're going to explode sometimes, some days are worse than others and I get odd bursts where it's very intense.

Hope you get a more detailed/technical answer soon - might be worth giving the MW a bell tomorrow to ask about it?

I went on holidays in my first trimester to a colder climate, and I had a similiar thing happen to me. We were hiking in the rainforest (which was damn cold at the time). It was a pain like I have not felt before; it was an all consuming burning of the breasts (felt inside and out). It continued until we actually got out of the forest and in some warmth again. Very strange?!?! Haven't had it since, thank goodness- because it was not pleasant!!!
