Crampy back pain

Very difficult to explain its at the side of my spine on my left only comes in spasms is this normal? Also I cant sleep as I'm SO hot... (I'm 5 weeks) is all this normal? x

Im afraid that could be quite normal - lots of hormonal adjustments and implantation and stretching and stuff going on so unless you have bleeding I would say you have nothing to worry about. re the hot thing - I certainly have had flushes all the way through pg so far, so again, quite normal hormonal reaction I would say

I had this when I was 5 weeks too, I am now almost 23 weeks and all is well :) I also can't get to sleep very easy either.

Is it on your lower back? Does it hurt when you press on it? I'd mention it to a doctor, as that's how my kidney infection started.

Hi WidowWadman, No not exactly its on my back behind my waist if that makes sense? I've had a kidney infection in the past so hope its not that. I've got the midwife tomorrow so maybe she will be able to help as I can show her. Thanks everyone for being so kind x
