hit my bump with trolley.

hello, i was sixteen weeks on friday. I had a really hectic day rushing around and doing too much. I was in sainsburys at about 7pm. I was pushing the trolley and misjudged a corner and bashed the trolley right into something. It was quite a bump and the handle of the trolley went right into my belly just under my belly button. I really shocked myself, it didn't hurt that much but was quite a bang. I went to the loo and wasn't bleeding at all. Yesterday my bump seemed harder than it was before but has gone back to it's squishy normal now. Do you think i could have done any harm? Has anyone else done anything like this? Thanks for reading. I'll try and be more aware of what's going on around me in future!

I fell over and the corner of the table went right into my bump at about 16 weeks. I'm now 39+1 and no problems. The bubba is well protected inside you and the way my midwife pushes on my bump i'd say you've got nothing to worry about!!

I fell off my bike at 31 weeks - was fine. As Dartfordmum says they are well protected in there.

I laugh about this now but at about 20 weeks with ds I was doing a nightshift and went through a door backwards whilst reversing a mobile xray machine which then seemed to gain acceleration and I ended up pinned against the wall with the machine in my belly. Blooming thing wouldn't move forward for what seemed like an eternity! I cried as I was so worried but all ok. Try not to worry x

thanks, i'm glad i'm not the only one. made me feel a bit vunerable but everything seems to be fine. Do you know what the hard belly might be about? thought it was eiether from where i hit it or the bean chilli i had the night before!
