I had a miscarriage last Aug (already have a DD). I am now about 10 wks pregnant. I had a scan at 7 weeks and everything was fine. The reason that I am worried is that until about a week ago, I was feeling really sich and shattered all the time and now, I feel much better. I have my nuchal scan in a couple of weeks but am stressing that it is going to show a MMC.

That should say sick and shattered.

Hi pudding, I'm almost 11 weeks and the tiredness and feeling sick all the time has passed for me too. Same thing happened when I was pregnant with DS.
Am sure it is nothing to worry about.
Think I read somewhere (may have been on MN) that the sickness can pass when the placenta starts to take over.

Thanks Corky.

My morning sickness seemed to stop at about 8 weeks which panicked me, but a week later I was back to feeling as sick as a parrot.

So it doesn't have to mean anything's wrong. Hopefully in your case the sickness is just coming to a natural end.

I only had a week of sickness with dd1 and had loads of energy - this pg (id twins) is very different - constant sickness for the last 10 weeks and I've got no energy at all. The fact you've had sickness is a great sign. Fingers crossed for you. x

Thanks everyone. I had no sickness with DD and none before I had the miscarriage which is why I was surprised to feel sick this time and then worried when it stopped. Just want the scan over with now!

Hi pudding I could have written your post! I'm 11w and have been feeling better for about a week now and am also convincing myself it's a MMC. Everyone I know, including my MW, and the sister at the maternity unit Blush is telling me not to be so silly and to wait for my scan in two weeks. Hard though isn't it? Thinking positive thoughts... Good luck.

Hi pudding I had the same thing as you - around about 10 weeks my MS seemed to stop and I got really worried something had happened too. But I'm 27 weeks now and everything is fine. My MW told me it is very common for symptoms to come and go and they often start getting better around that sort of time due to placenta starting to take over.

Try not to worry too much and I'm sure everything will go great with your scan! Fingers crossed! x

Same as most other posters here ? had a MMC last year so when my symptoms stopped at 10-ish weeks, was sure I was having another one. I'm now 24 weeks and everything's fine :) It's impossible not to worry, but there really isn't any point ? it won't make any difference to the outcome and just makes you feel shit!

Thanks everyone! Hopefully, I will have good news a week on Thursday. I don't think I will relax until the baby is born though!
