Bump?

Just a question to satisfy my curiosity really. I'm currently 11+4 and have quite a 'bump' already (which MW informs me is made up just of me, not baby)... how do you tell when the uterus has moved up from behind the pubic bone? Does it feel different, or just look different? And can you feel it move? Presuming it will happen in the next few weeks, so might stop me being so obsessive about it if I know what to expect Wink

Thanks in advance Smile

You can feel the top of it if you know what the difference feels like (IYSWIM). It feels more solid and has quite a distinct outline.

..only if you are slim enough! Being slightly well padded can make it hard to detect any difference but yes, the uterus is harder. Then theres bump when it develops...alot harder than I was expecting, think over inflated ball rather than squishy pillow! Just one thing, when the uterus moves you might get some cramping and spotting - it freaked me out til I was told it was normal so be prepared! Congrats and good luck x

Hmm wondering if it has popped. At some points during the month before got pg could feel muscles lower down quite clearly (i.e. below stomach), now my whole 'bump' feels a bit like that (so I can feel sort of ribbing of muscle?). And it all feels a bit more rounded than before (was more of a wobbly mass!)

Had some cramping and spotting on Tuesday this week.

Thanks for your responses Smile
