Squashed Fallopian tubes?

hi,

I am 6+2 and I had discomfort in my lower right side a bit over a week ago. I went to the doctor who confirmed it was the corpus luteum and the ruptured ovary.
The discomfort stopped the next day and I haven't had anything since.

Today I was edging off bed sitting up with my legs stretched out and it felt as if both tubes were squashed. It was more a dull feeling. I haven't experienced this before.

I have the frontrunners of a cold at present. Could it be I tore a muscle ever so slightly?

I am not worried, just wondering about it?

how did the doc diagnose you? did you have a scan?

not sure you could feel tubes being squashed but any pain in early pregnancy needs to be checked with scans and blood tests to rule out ectopic.

go back to the dr and get a referal to an early pregnancy unit.

Hi,

I had a scan and he ruled ectopic out as far as I understood. The pain I was having which then completely subsided was the ovary.

What I am experiencing now isn't really pain, but was more a one off strange feeling. I don't feel it at all apart from that one movement.

I have my next scan on Wednesday and hopefully this time there will be a little baby visible :)

did they take blood to check hormone levels?

what you have now could be muscles/ligaments stretching.

Nope, they didn't take blood.
I live in Singapore, so things appear to be very different here.
He didn't even do a pregnancy test.

He said that my uterus had grown to twice the normal size when I went for my scan (according to my dates 5 weeks) and that the lining was very thick and looked healthy.

He checked the Fallopian tubes and ovaries extensively, as I was so paranoid that the one sided pain could mean ectopic and as I am out of the country this week.

He couldn't see the baby, hence another scan next Wednesday to make sure all is progressing well.

Thank you for your responses AYC :)
