too much movement?

I'm 26 weeks and I feel like the baby has not stopped moving all day. I don't know what way it's lying but the kicks are quite painful at the top of my bump and have been going on for about 6 hours.

Anyone else experience this? I can't remember how much movement is normal.

I had this too and asked the obstetrician about it who said that all movement is good.

From what I've heard / told / read, there is no such thing as too much movement, you (like me) obviously just have a v.active baby (27+3 & being kicked & punched all hours) Grin

Think of the positives - baby is just letting you know he or she is okay & you'll soon notice if baby stops being as active. :)

I'm 27 wks tomorrow and baby is going mental most of the time- scared me a bit at first as it was doing it from 17 wks, i though it wasnt normal but mw says some are just v active and just be happy you know the LO is ok!

Doesn't help me when i get woke 10 times a night though with a face like thisShock
