Hi, I went for an antenatal appointment yesterday and was told I am measuring 33 weeks when I am 35 weeks when previously I was measuring fine. The midwife didnt seem concerned and said if it went to 3 weeks difference they would investigate. But I weighed myself today and I have lost 5 pounds in the last 5 days, would this concern you? or am I worrying about nothing? My previous children were 7lbs 2 and 7lbs 5 at birth, both slightly early. Thanks in advance Smile

Hi there - I'm currently pregnant with first at 33 weeks - so don't have too much experience in the later stages as just going through it now for the first time, but have heard that women slow down their eating in the final weeks simply because their stomach is so squashed now. I've noticed in the last few weeks I've had less of an appetite. So this may contribute to your weight loss... sorry this isn't much of a help!

Hi- if you are worried make another appointment or ring the Maternity Assessment Unit and get checked out. It's probably nothing at all but when I was pregnant low fundal height was the first indicator something was wrong and DS had to be born early (he's fine now). I think it's always worth checking if you are worried, my instinct was that something was wrong and I was right. Then again I am a bit neurotic now. Grin

Hope all is well.
