HR asked for mine today and I explained that I hadn't received it yet - I'm currently 23 weeks. I didn't get it until 26/7 weeks with last pregnancy either. Is this about average or is my local paperwork person a bit rubbish?

You should be able to get it now as you need to give it to your work by 25 weeks. Can you give your midwife a ring and ask her to leave it for you to collect at the desk?

I'm seeing her tomorrow anyway so was going to raise it - just wondered if the timescale was average Smile

I had to chase mine up with the mid-wife/GP. You can get it from the 21st week of pregnancy and need to submit it to your employer before you're 25weeks (it can affect your maternity pay if you don't submit it in time). Glad you'll be sorting it out tomorrow.

23 weeks and had a midwife appt yesterday and she gave it to me.

I had to make a GP's appt to get mine at 22 weeks so that I could give it to work on time.

My MW just told me today that I'd get i at my 24 wk appointment...

CBear6 · 31/03/2011 21:01

My MW said I could pick it up at my 28 weeks appointment but I need it before then as starting my maternity leave at 29 weeks so she said I can go to the drop-in clinic and collect it at 20 weeks which is supposedly the earliest you can have it.
