Travel insurance

I know people often ask on here about travel insurance during pregnancy. I've just called my insurers as it suddenly occurred that I might need to register SPD as a pre-existing condition. Being paranoid, I thought I'd check again about pregnancy, to which they answered that I don't need to register it, I will be covered and so would the baby if it was born abroad. (Directline in case anyone is looking for a company to cover all of that)

But the really interesting thing was they said that under EU law they're not actually allowed to ask about or 'discriminate' on the basis of pregnancy, at whatever stage. I've googled and this seems to be true. So NO travel insurance company should be restricting pregnant women travelling. Thought this might be useful for people who've been told otherwise by their insurers.
