If your baby's head is engaged, have you been experiencing any sharp pelvic pains?

Have you had any sharp pelvic/cervical pains that come and go if your baby's head is engaged? I am 34 weeks and have had stubbing pains that seem to come and go every 5 minutes or so... Not sure if these have anything to do with my baby's head being engaged... Should I be worried?

I'm 34 weeks and having exactly the same thing especially if I walk alot. I'm seeing MW tomorrow and will ask about it

I had stabby pains around 34wks, but not as frequently as you describe.

I think it is just a baby-hitting-a-nerve thing. Mine stopped after 2-3 weeks, I'm now getting more of a head-butt on the cervix kind of pain

I am 35+4 and for about the past week have been having these pains- I found out at my recent antenatal appointment that babies head is now 3/5ths Engaged. Walking has become particulary uncomfortable- feels like babies head is going to push its way out! Lots of pressure down there at the mo.

I would ask your MW at your next appointment, it might well be that baby has started to engage..

I've been having pain in my pelvis for the past 2 weeks or so - I'm 34+2. It's quite uncomfortable, especially when walking for longer periods at a time and getting up from a chair. Not as regularly as you describe, though! MW thought it could be either SPD or baby pushing down on a nerve...she wasn't too worried about it, just said I should ring them if it gets worse.

Call the midwife, she won't mind and it'll put your mind at rest!
