17+5 and not felt baby wriggle for two days

Hi, I've felt baby moving around for over about two weeks now and it's been a nice comfort every morning and on my drive home from work. I've not felt baby wriggle for just over a day now and I'm worried.

My midwife (at 16 weeks) said that it's nice I can feel baby move early but not to worry about patterns until 20 weeks.

Should I be worried or could baby have moved around and now be kicking my back and that's why I'm not feeling anything?

Baby usually wakes up when I have my morning coffee - but I havn't felt anything for two mornings now.

Any advice would be great thanks

I would imagine LO has just turned around. At 17 weeks he/she is still teeny weeny x

I could only feel sporadic movements at 17 weeks, and easily went two or three days without feeling anything. I think it's perfectly normal as the baby can easily be in a position where you can't feel. But, if you're worried, get in touch with your midwife for reassurance :)

I am 17 + 5, and can't be sure I have felt any movement yet. The doctor assures me everything is fine and dandy, as I's sure it is with your little one too Smile

When I was 19 weeks I hadnt felt baby move for a day and went to the day unit and had a quick scan. The sonographer said not to worry about patterns until about 24 weeks but I felt better for going in and seeing all was fine. As Im sure it is with your baby but maybe ring the midwife it might put your mind to rest Smile

one good thing to do is to drink a pint of cold water with ice and that should get baby wriggeling

Newmummytobe79 I have a thread open about this at the moment.

I am 18+4 and haven't felt ANY movements yet, this is my 2nd pg and I started to feel movement regularly at 18 weeks last time, so I'm worrying!

No useful advice but read my thread - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1178715-No-movements-felt-am-stressing - as there may be some reassurance there for you?

Hope you start being regularly kicked soon Grin
