Ok, faint bfp. 3 months ttc. Freaking out slightly.

Af 1 week late. Did a test and there's a deffo line, but it's really faint. Dh has seen it and there's a line and a friend said there's a line to! I think I'm in shock, it's quick.
Should I wait for a week and do another test? Or will it be stronger if I do it tomorrow? Or do info to the dr Thursday?
I'm sorry if that sounds thick of me, I don't wanna bother the dr if I'm over reacting. Can a faint line be a fault? I'm new to this ttc malaky.

A line is a line! Congratuations - assuming the line has colour and appeared within the time limit, you are pregnant!

Do a digital test first thing in the morning to put your mind at rest about it. One week late I'd have thought you'd have a convincing result, what brand did you use? Some just end up with darker lines than others I think.

I had a faint line and posted a very similar thread. I'm now 28 weeks and getting kicked by a tiny person.

(I did a digi test to confirm though, as I didn't trust the Internet cheapy...)

I got a false +ve on a sains test but it wasn't faint, it was just half a line...very odd

Do one first thing in the morning.

Thank you! It was a boots own brand, does it have to be the 1st wee of the morning? Coz I don't have another test but can get one in the morning an do it. The line came up after a few mins. It's still there too! ( I kept it, gross but I needed to look at it about 20 times throughout the day just to torture myself )

first wee of the morning is more likely to get a +ve I think - so no problem here!
Yes I kept mine too, was devestated when DH suggested we throw them out

I wouldnt worry about it being quick - having bee on the pill 10 years, I cam off on the 21/9/10. The dates I gave the midwife for last period where 24/9/10! you can imagine theo shock we got!!

I decided to come off the pill early because it generally takes so long for it to come out of the system!

I had to do 3 tests - I screwed the first one up (and did it in the afternoon), DP didnt believe the second one (done first thing ) - he had no choice but to believe the digital one!!!

sound positive to me, i posted about this lots as had 3 very feint lines, am 13 weeks pregnant. Do one first thing (i did a digital in the end as i was drivign myself and DH mad)

Also with reference to being quick DS was first month ttc, this one 1st month tcc - guess that why i didn't believe it as it seemed to good to be true.

Thank you! Well I couldnt hold it this morning till I got a test so I've just bought it and will do it tomorrow and report back. But my boobs are killing me! Still no sign on af! I'm over the initial shock and I'm quite calm at the mOment. I suppose tomorrow when I get the deffo it will be a different story! Thanks for all your advice and help! Speak to you tomorrow!

Hi invisible I'm exactly the same, came off pill after New Year, 2 days late so tested and BFP this am! Not even 3 months ttc yet.

Used 2 clearblue plus tests and I'm seeing the doc in about 2 hours. Don't worry about bothering them that's what they're there for - I'm sure you're not a hypochondriac in there every other day

Ok,so I used a cheapo test 1st wee this morning. Another line. So that's 4 different tests at 4 different time of day telling me I'm pregnant. The lines are pale pink, but deffo there. Ladies. I beleive I'm up the duff [grabs paper bag and breaths deeply]

I think I'll go to the drs tomorrow though....

Oh banned stuff! I already have an idea what they are and they happen to be my favourite things! Black coffee, runny eggs, alcohol and fags! Havnt smoked or drunk since the 1st maybe positive, why do I get the feeling my life is never going to be the same [still clutching paper bag and inhaling] it's very scary but exciting!
