1st time I found out at 8weeks, morning sickness kicked in at 9weeks along with cramps and growing aches.

Just found out I'm pregnant with DC2, but only 4 weeks. Sore and heavy boobs and a bit tired (but prob due to early rising toddler)....but today I also have lower back pain, like when you're about to come on your period? I don't want to start getting all nuerotic already, but how different were your pregnancies in the early stages?

to be honest at this stage that's reassuring - because I def had no symptoms at all at this stage and I'm freaking myself out wiht these lower back pains

similar experience to Claire!

First time was a piece of cake. This time I've had almost every (minor but uncomfortable) complaint the whole way through incl asthma (I'm not usually asthmatic), very bad acid reflux, acid reflux induced night cough, SPD or whatever its called now, countless colds, sleep issues etc etc etc. I'm not as fit an healthy as I was first time, and 3 years older (now 43) doesn't help either.

My second pg was much worse. Sorry. Much sicker, much more knackered.

Really different 2nd time around.

I had back pains and couldn't bend over for long or sleep on my tummy from about 6 weeks this time, whereas with DC1 I was stacking a winter log delivery two days before I gave birth.

Have felt a lot more uncomfortable this time which I've put down to having a toddler to run around and tidy up after - lots of bending and lifting all day. Also a lot more pressure 'down there' which I think is normal after the first as it never all goes back to normal does it.

I wouldn't worry about your back pain tbh. Hope you feel better soon though, and although I say it's a lot tougher, it's still lovely being pregnant.
