Hi Ladies,

I want to get a gift for my partner as he has made my dreams come true by making the decision to start a family. It was a big step for him and has been amazing since finding out I was pregnant. He is so excited now, but I want to get him a special gift to say thank you. I want to get him something unusual, so I thought I would see if you ladies have any ideas??? X

thats true, the baby will be the best gift for you both, the dreams came true for you both, once he will have the baby in his hands, that will be the great gift.

wait until baby is born and get him cufflinks or something with baby's fingerprint on - like this

or if not a weekend away in a swanky hotel where you have hot sex because before long you will not feel like it and when baby is born you will be too knackered ! Grin

Wow the silver cufflinks are a gorgeous idea, they look amazing. Might have to make a note of that for when my little one arrives.

Avantia, I love the hotel idea especially and I think he might like the hot sex idea too!!!

As we didnt have much money, I made a jokey sort of hamper. I got a basket and put a bar of his fav choccie, a bottle of beer, ear plugs, and a book called ' blokes guide to pregnancy/parenting'. Cant remember what else?
he loved it.
it was just a personal small touch that didnt cost the earth
