29 weeks pregnany.
today i went out on the quad. i didnt think anything could effect the baby, but now i am worrying my self sick, and feeel SOOOO guilty!!
i was on the quad over a good 2 hours... the surface was bumpy... i wish i never even went there now, i was just so tempted to have a little go, so when i did, i really enjoyed and my little go turned into a couple of hours..
now i regret even going, im worrying my self sick.... i am never going to do anything that tempts me again whilst preg........
would i have hurt the baby?? :(

I don't think so, as long as you didn't fall off. But whatever possessed you to do this at 29weeks?! It could have been disastrous for you and the baby, the risk of injury on those things is so high. Take it easy from now on! Wink

it was only a little one, slow but bumpy, and i just had tooo, i was sooo tempted:(

It'll be fine - baby has lots of fluid and protection around him/her. Not recommended though I'm sure, but mostly because you might have fallen off!

MrsVidic · 27/03/2011 18:50

Don't beat yourself up, baby will be oblivious.

BikeRunSki · 27/03/2011 18:59

You'll be fine.
I was mountain biking - off road, downhill - at 30 weeks last time.

I regularly went trampolining up to 37 weeks with DC1 :)

SummerRain · 27/03/2011 19:04

I trampolined for hours with ds2 at 40 weeks in the hope of shifting the little sod and he was completely oblivious to it Grin

I'm sure baby will be fine... I know loads of people who road horses until term and none of them ever had any concerns

My sister was doing judo at 6 months........only cause our mum didn't know that she was pregnant at 17 and if she had stopped she would have guessed something was up, my nephew survived that.......must say he is a bit strange tho, lol

My DH's job involves him driving round on quad and when pg with DS1 I was often out on the back of it! He was fine!
